Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced tradesperson to lay out, assemble, and install pipe systems and supports at industrial sites in the United States. The role emphasizes reading isometric drawings, precision measurements, and secure fabrication techniques to ensure piping integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with supervision.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials during installation per plans and specifications.
• Operate tools including beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and Saw-Zall.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe, and supports; hydro test piping systems.
