Qualifications

• Reading isometric drawings and measurements.
• Fabricating and installing piping systems per specs.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficiency with layout and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans, specs and codes.
• Read isometric drawings, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings by welding and threading.
• Position materials and install items per plans and specs.
• Identify material thicknesses and metal types.
• Handle rigging equipment safely and effectively.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, pipe threaders, torches, drills, and saws.
• Layout and install equipment, vessels, pumps, pipes and supports.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time and resources for work.
• Inspect subordinate's work for quality and conformance.
