Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Hawaii is hiring a Master Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles across a variety of brands, ensuring safety, reliability and customer satisfaction. This role requires hands-on expertise in engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

You’ll work on newer vehicles, possibly serve as a technical resource for peers, and enjoy on-site, full-time hours with benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs on a wide range of makes/models with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and onboard computers.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
