Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Master Mechanic in Hawaii to diagnose and repair vehicles across a diverse fleet. You will work on newer models from multiple brands, performing warranty work and complex repairs, with a focus on first-time correctness and safety.

You will apply your ASE expertise, support fellow technicians, and help ensure vehicles are available and reliable for customers. A retention bonus and opportunities for shift premiums may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3).
• Ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for other technicians and share best practices.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
