Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an automotive Master Mechanic in Hawaii. You will diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple brands, ensuring safety and reliability for customers. This role emphasizes high-quality workmanship and adherence to warranty procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of professional auto repair experience, ASE certifications, and the ability to obtain additional ASE credentials within the first year. On-site work, benefits, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3).
• Ability to acquire 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Strong knowledge across ASE areas: Engine Repair, Drivetrain, Suspension, Brakes, Electrical, HVAC, Engine Performance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on-site in a mechanical shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work, on a wide range of makes/models.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhausts, brakes, electrical, A/C, and onboard computer systems.
• Serve as technical resource to other technicians and share best practices.
