Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking team members to join the Meat department. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts ordered by Members.

You’ll help maintain sanitation, safety, and accurate signage while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment. As part of the team, you’ll support club policies and uphold GOLD standards, work with pride, and contribute to a safe, positive experience for Members.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to Members by making recommendations regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Rotates meats and ensures the case showcases available products.
• Maintains all club policies and equipment cleanliness and sanitation.
