Job summary

ProLift Warehouse Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Dock and Door Technician to provide maintenance and repair services at customer locations. You will diagnose and repair warehouse equipment, troubleshoot levelers, lifts, seals and restraints, and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong welding skills.
• Ability to read leveler or restraint schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic software preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; DOT medical certification may be required (CDL possible).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in rain or snow.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair warehouse and loading dock equipment.
• Troubleshoot dock levelers, dock lifts, seals, shelters, and restraints.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs to improve uptime and reliability.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift.
