ProLift Warehouse Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Dock and Door Technician to diagnose and repair warehouse and loading dock equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes problem solving, independent work, and delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, welding skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, rolling steel doors, overhead doors, fire doors, and dock equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent, required; Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong welding skills; Ability to read leveler or restraint schematics; Experience with diagnostic software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair warehouse and loading dock equipment.
• Troubleshoot dock levelers, dock lifts, dock seals and shelters, and vehicle restraints.

ProLift Warehouse Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Dock and Door Technician to provide world‑class maintenance and repair services to all classes of loading dock equipment and industrial/commercial doors at customer locations.

We’re looking for professionals who take pride in solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair warehouse and loading dock equipment
• Troubleshoot dock levelers, dock lifts, dock seals and shelters, and vehicle restraints
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, rolling steel doors, overhead doors, fire doors, commercial dock doors, dock levelers and restraints
• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Technical school education, preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong welding skills
• Ability to read leveler or restraint schematics
• Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, DOT regulated medical certification required (may require CDL)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push and pull up‑to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions

Preferred Experience:

• Commercial dock and door experience
• Fire Door Certification
• Welding and fabrication experience
