Qualifications

• Master’s degree in English or closely related discipline required; Ph.D. preferred.
• ABD may be considered if degree awarded prior to August 2027.
• Background in composition or related field preferred.
• Evidence of potential for successful teaching at the college level.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30 lower-division credits annually, primarily in Composition.
• Maintain office hours and submit grades by university deadlines.
• Attend department, division and college meetings and participate in program management.
• Adhere to university policies and perform other duties as assigned.
