Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks an experienced Truck Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and related systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. CDL preferred within 12 months.

Welding and fabrication skills a plus. You will work in a safety-conscious shop environment. Responsibilities include interpreting DVIRs, communicating with managers and drivers, adhering to repair times, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of brake system inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulic system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from service manuals.
• Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times and estimate time & materials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs on equipment to maximize safe operations.
• Communicates issues with managers/drivers and discusses preventive techniques.
• Completes required paperwork timely and concisely.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area.
