Job summary

Waste Pro USA seeks skilled diesel truck technicians to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and related systems on heavy and light duty trucks. Experience with gasoline, diesel, CNG and welding may be involved. CDL-B is preferred within 12 months.

You will work on state-of-the-art equipment, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing career development with company support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair.
• Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals.
• Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and estimate time and materials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and repairs and maintains on equipment to maximize safe operations.
• Communicates with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Conducts repairs using Factory Service Manuals.
• Maintains high standard of Ethics and Dependability.
