Job summary

Waste Pro USA seeks an experienced Truck Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel and CNG variants. Welding and fabrication skills may be required.

ASE certification support offered. You'll work with a team dedicated to safety and efficiency, with comprehensive benefits and a monthly tool allowance of up to $80, plus tuition reimbursement and a Master Technician

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy- and light-duty trucks.
Ability to read DVIRs and repair orders.
Knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, hydraulic systems.
Experience with gasoline, diesel and CNG systems.
Ability to estimate repair times and parts.
Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Ability to guide Assistant Technicians and shop staff.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs on equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
Communicates issues with managers/drivers and discusses preventive techniques.
Completes repairs and paperwork in a timely manner.
Follows safety policies and maintains a clean work area.
Uses vehicle computer systems to interpret failures and initiate repairs.
Conducts safety checks and repairs using Service Manuals.
