Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a Customer Master Data Specialist to establish and maintain customer master data across our order-to-cash system. This remote role requires coordinating updates for licensing, tax, and banking information while delivering high-quality customer support via phone, email, and Salesforce.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service, familiarity with SAP order-to-cash, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer master data; create address codes for direct and indirect customers in order to cash and reporting systems.
• Maintain ongoing changes/deletions of customer accounts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Investigate licensing and financial responsibility status; update registrations for state, DEA, and veterinary licenses as needed.
• Ensure financial data (tax, tax-exemption status, credit card/bank data) is current on customer accounts.
• Provide first-line customer support via phone, email, and Salesforce.com; deliver a personalized customer experience.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail and minimal supervision.
• Deliver superior customer service and be solution-driven in all interactions; propose improvements to procedures as needed.

Customer Master Data Specialist

Remote position, but must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time hours

Principal Job Duties

Establishing and Maintaining Customer Master Data:

• Responsible for establishing address codes for direct and indirect customers within the order to cash and reporting system per standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for all ongoing maintenance (changes and deletions) of established accounts within order to cash per standard operating procedures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all customer information.
• Maintain proactive role in investigating licensing and financial responsibility status of parties listed on existing customer accounts. Contact customers to update registration information as needed for state, DEA, and veterinary licenses.
• Ensure financial information including but not limited to tax, tax exemption status, credit card and bank data is up to date and accurate on new and existing customer accounts.
• Deliver first line customer support through phone, email & SalesForce.com, providing personalized customer experience through easy, efficient, and enthusiastic interactions that allow our customers to accomplish their goals.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-volume environment, with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.
• Provide superior customer service and remain solution-driven with all customers.
• Recommend new procedural solutions to improve any operational areas of focus.
