Job summary

The Master Data Operations Supervisor at Corning leads a team responsible for accurate, timely master data in SAP and related systems, enabling reliable planning, procurement, manufacturing, and finance processes. This hands-on leadership role combines people management with technical contribution to data readiness and governance.

Working across planning, engineering, procurement, and finance, you will drive data quality, standardization, and compliance, while supporting SAP S/4HANA initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in Master Data Governance or ERP in a supply chain context.
• Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience leading work in a transactional master data environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Structured, SLA-driven work management.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team operations directing Data Specialists and manage workloads.
• Coach new team members and resolve routine delays, escalating risks when needed.
• Oversee hands-on master data execution including materials, BOMs, routings, related records, new part setup.
• Maintain data standards and governance per established procedures and Data Office governance.
• Drive data quality and compliance through audits and routine checks.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation with data readiness and validation.
