Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Master Data Operations Supervisor in the New York area. This role leads a team to maintain accurate, timely master data within SAP and related systems, enabling reliable downstream processes.

You will ensure data standards, support SAP S/4HANA initiatives, and collaborate with planning, procurement, engineering, and finance to drive data accuracy and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Master Data Governance or ERP-related experience.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience leading work in a transactional master data environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Structured, SLA-driven work approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team operations by directing Data Specialists and balancing workloads.
• Provide coaching and issue support, training new team members and users.
• Oversee hands-on master data execution including materials, BOMs, routings, and setup.
• Maintain data standards and governance following procedures and controls.
• Drive data quality and compliance through audits, reports, and checks.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with planning, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
