Job summary

CONMED Corporation seeks a Master Data Management Lead to join our Global COE, operating primarily from India. You will own governance, strategy, and execution of enterprise master data across SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

This senior role leads both technical and functional aspects, collaborating with IT, business partners, and vendors to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and readiness for SAP transformations.

Qualifications

• Over 12–15+ years in Data Management, ERP, SAP, or related enterprise applications.
• Experience leading enterprise MDM programs as lead or architect.
• Strong knowledge of master data domains: Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Business Partner, BOM, Routing.
• Proven governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise MDM strategy and roadmaps across key data domains.
• Lead functional data governance with business process owners and stewards.
• Design and deliver MDM solutions using Syniti, SAP MDG, or home-grown MDG.
• Own data readiness for SAP S/4HANA deployments and data migrations.
• Monitor data quality, controls, and compliance in regulated environments.
• Guide cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leadership.
