Job summary

Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc is hiring a Master Data Administrator to manage customer, vendor, and material master records for our ERP system. The role collaborates with sales and purchasing to ensure timely order processing and accurate data across procurement and inventory functions.

This hybrid position requires three days in the office weekly, with responsibilities spanning data creation, updates, and support for ERP/MRP processes while contributing to process improvements and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of data entry, understanding of MRP or inventory control systems; metals industry a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of material part numbers.
• Creation and maintenance of vendor and customer records.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts and maintenance of MRP inputs at the item level.
• Support of sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure proper ERP functionality.
• Accountability for project work within and outside procurement.
• Other duties as assigned; may change at any time with or without notice.
