Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a skilled carpenter to construct and repair building frameworks, stairways, doors, and drywall as part of our on-site team. You will read blueprints, measure materials, and prepare job sites while prioritizing safety and precision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safe work practices. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• CPR & First Aid Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and removal of concrete forms for concrete installation.
• Build and install window-frames, doors, doorframes, staircases, partitions, millwork, trim, siding, drywall, and building frames.
• Ensure flooring, roofing, and drywall are leveled and compatible with plans.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Measure material quantities and assist with cutting and fitting materials.
• Load, unload, and distribute materials, machinery, and tools on site.
• Shadow area assignments to gain project knowledge and skills.
• Assist with area housekeeping and maintaining a safe jobsite.
• Promote safety and secure the jobsite at day’s end.
