Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (A-Level) at our Auburn, MA location to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership standards. You will perform repairs, document findings, and ensure guest satisfaction while using handheld diagnostics and participating in ongoing manufacturer training.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, teamwork, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced automotive environment with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred; manufacturer certs preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools and strong mechanical skills.
• Must be at least eighteen years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Examine vehicles to determine safety or additional service needs.
• Document work performed and communicate with service advisor.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs where appropriate.
• Participate in manufacturer training and stay current with technology.
• Maintain CSI scores and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist and mentor fellow technicians as needed.
