Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Sudbury, MA is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs with minimal supervision. This role supports senior technicians, with emphasis on accurate inspections, and safe operation within dealership standards.

You will participate in ongoing training, stay updated on recalls, and contribute to a guest-centric service experience while benefiting from our comprehensive benefits and rapid pay cycle.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance exchange, TPMS repairs/replacement.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and document all work.
• Stay up to date by reading factory bulletins, campaigns, updates and recalls.
• Examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technology.
