Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to repair vehicles, perform diagnostics, and contribute to guest experiences. The A Level Technician handles routine repairs such as light engine work, electrical, HVAC, steering, and transmissions, with manufacturer certifications encouraged.

You will document work, communicate with service advisors, participate in training, and ensure quality, safety, and CSI targets while maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools and strong mechanical skills.
• ASE certifications preferred; manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road test to verify work performed and completion.
