Job summary

Laborde Earles Injury Lawyers is seeking a Mass Torts Paralegal to support the case-handling attorney, ensuring excellent client service and advocacy. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail as you coordinate with third parties and manage case data.

You will maintain Litify CMS entries, review medical records, and prepare filings while upholding our commitment to timely, accurate, and compassionate client care across Louisiana offices.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Proficient in data entry and management.
• Experience in legal, medical, or insurance industry; claims experience preferred.
• Paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred.
• Competent with computers; fast keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients and support the case-handling attorney on all assigned matters.
• Maintain regular client contact and provide case updates every 120 days.
• Contact third parties such as medical providers and insurers on behalf of the client.
• Manage all matter documents and ensure accurate data entry in Litify.
• Prepare and file complaints and Plaintiff Facts/Profiles electronically.
• Handle tasks quickly, accurately, and with confidentiality from signup through disbursal.
• Support the handling attorney as requested and complete CMS tasks timely.
• Organize and preserve all matter-related documents and expenses.
