Job summary

Laborde Earles is seeking a Mass Tort Paralegal to provide outstanding client service, act as an advocate in dealings with third parties, and support attorneys in case handling from signup to disbursement. The role emphasizes confidentiality, timely communication, and meticulous data management in Litify CMS.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organization, and empathy for clients, with experience in legal, medical, or insurance settings.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Data entry and management proficiency.
• Experience in legal, medical, or insurance industry.
• Paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred.
• Strong keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best possible customer service to clients and act as their advocate with third parties.
• Maintain regular client contact with updates (e.g., every 120 days).
• Contact medical providers and insurers on behalf of clients.
• Ensure accurate data entry and organization in Litify CMS.
• Prepare and file complaints via Electronic Case Filing.
• Summarize medical records and bills as needed.
• Draft, save, mail, or email correspondence and keep documents organized.
• Support handling attorney with CMS tasks and timely completions.
