Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to join its Mobile, AL team. The attorney will manage diverse litigation responsibilities including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation. The role offers opportunities for leadership in coordinated MDL proceedings.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify. JD and state bar admission are required.

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal civil procedure.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation technology/tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
