Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney in Gainesville, FL. The attorney will handle pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation, with leadership opportunities in coordinated MDL proceedings.

Required are a JD and admission to at least one U.S. state bar, plus strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in litigation tech and standard tools is expected for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation technology/tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing
• Support settlement and resolution efforts
