Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Mass Tort Litigation Associate Attorney to handle diverse litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and supporting trial preparation. The role offers opportunities for leadership in coordinated MDL proceedings and requires a JD and admission to at least one U.S.

state bar; strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written/verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office and litigation tech are essential

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required.
• Experience with complex litigation preferred.
• Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
• Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
