Freres Engineered Wood is seeking a Sales Engineer / Mass Timber Estimator to join our Plant 6 Sales/Production team. The role blends cost estimating, technical sales support, and CAD drafting to develop schematics, layouts, and fabrication details for mass timber projects.

You will work with architects and engineers to prepare accurate estimates, perform value engineering, and oversee projects from design through fabrication and shipment, contributing to sustainable mass timber solutions that

Qualifications

• Experience with mass timber estimation and design validation.
• Ability to review blueprints, specs, and drawings for cost outcomes.
• Proficiency with timber CAD/CAM tools and allied software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support and engineering information to clients.
• Develop detailed cost estimates from plans and specs.
• Create CAD drawings and fabrication layouts for Mass Ply Panels.
• Lead project aspects from inception through fabrication and delivery.
