Job summary

Freres Engineered Wood, a mass timber innovator based in Lyons, NY, seeks a Sales Engineer to blend technical sales support, cost estimating, and drafting using Cadwork to deliver Mass Ply panel solutions for architects and contractors.

You will work with customers, review drawings, prepare accurate estimates, generate CAD drawings, and help move projects from sale through fabrication. Some weekend work and travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with customer focus.
• Experience in technical sales, consulting, or application engineering within construction industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support and cost estimating based on drawings and specs.
• Develop Mass Ply panel solutions and value-engineering recommendations.
• Create CAD drawings and fabrication files to support mass timber projects.
