Job summary

Truist seeks a Premier Banker to serve as the primary relationship manager for a mass affluent client portfolio across its footprint, delivering banking, mortgage, planning, investments and insurance solutions. You will leverage referrals to grow the client base and provide integrated advisory services with a focus on exceptional service.

The role requires strong sales and relationship-management skills, with active FINRA/SIE and insurance licenses and a commitment to compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related financial services experience.
• Minimum five years of financial services experience with banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
• Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment concepts.
• SIE, Series 7, 66 licenses and applicable Insurance licenses; must be active or obtained within 100–150 days; FINRA licenses transferred within 60 days.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for mass affluent clients and deliver a broad range of fee income and retail banking products.
• Update understanding of client needs via profiling and planning analyses; coordinate with investment accounts.
• Monitor market trends and act as a financial planning resource for clients, attorneys, and CPAs.
• Meet growth, profitability and retention goals by acquiring new clients and expanding services; support sales processes and CRM updates.
• Collaborate with IRM partners to ensure integrated service delivery across banking, mortgage, planning, investments and insurance.
• Build and maintain relationships with external centers of influence to boost business development.
• Work within audit, compliance, and regulatory framework to maintain a high-quality, compliant portfolio.
• Support Premier Banking program development and related policies.
