Job summary

Truist in the United States seeks a Premier Banker to manage relationships with mass affluent clients, selling and servicing a broad range of banking, investment and insurance products. The role emphasizes personalized, high‑touch service and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with financial advisers and IRM partners to grow revenue, expand services, and maintain strong client satisfaction while keeping abreast of market trends and financial planning strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
• Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with banking, investments, and/or retail lending.
• Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment concepts; retail credit and banking products.
• SIE, FINRA Series 7, 66 licenses and insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable) active or to be obtained within 100–150 days; FINRA licenses transferable within 60 days.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients; sell, deliver and service fee income and retail banking products.
• Assess and update client financial needs; collaborate with financial advisor on investments and asset allocation.
• Stay informed on market trends; act as a financial planning advisory resource for clients, attorneys and CPAs.
• Meet revenue growth, profitability and retention goals by expanding services and marketing new products.
• Coordinate with IRM partners to deliver integrated client servicing and development.
• Build relationships with external centers of influence to enhance business development.
• Work within audit, compliance and regulatory framework to maintain a compliant client portfolio.
• Assist in implementing and developing the Premier Banking program and policies.
