Job summary

The Witmer Group is seeking a high-performance Estimator to support continued growth in masonry restoration and concrete repair. This role blends strong technical estimating with client-facing professionalism and a proactive business development mindset.

You will develop detailed estimates from site visits or plans, perform take-offs, review documents for risk, and support transitions to project management with thorough turnover. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary coursework related to construction, engineering, architecture, or building science is helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed masonry restoration estimates from site visits or plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs and solicit pricing from subs and suppliers.
• Review bid documents for scope gaps, risk allocation, bonding, and insurance needs.
• Prepare conceptual budgets and change order pricing as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to validate production assumptions and labor strategies.
• Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data.
