Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education helpful in construction/engineering/building science.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required.
• Experience in masonry/restoration valuable but not required; strong technical field knowledge ok.
• Estimating experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents with attention to scope and risk.
• FAA Part 107 remote pilot certification (or willingness to obtain) desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed masonry restoration estimates from site visits or plans.
• Perform quantity take-offs and solicit competitive subcontractor pricing.
• Review bid documents for scope gaps, risk, bonding, and insurance.
• Prepare conceptual budgets and change-order pricing as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to validate production assumptions and labor strategies.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and job walks.
• Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data.
• Support transition to project management with turnover documentation.
• Proactively follow up on bids and pursue awarded opportunities.
