Tiello LLC is seeking skilled Masons for commercial masonry construction in the Birmingham and Huntsville, AL area. The Mason will lay brick, block, and stone on commercial projects, reading blueprints and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.

Expect 3+ years of experience, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and reliable transportation to job sites. This full-time role offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial masonry experience.
• Experience laying CMU block, brick, and stone on commercial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of masonry installation methods and safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay brick, concrete block, CMU, stone, and other masonry materials per project specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans.
• Mix mortar and grout to proper consistency.
• Construct walls, partitions, columns, and other masonry structures; install reinforcement, anchors, and flashing.
• Perform tuckpointing, repairs, and restoration work as needed.
• Ensure work meets company quality standards and project schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades on-site.
• Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Company Overview:

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Masonry Contractor in Birmingham and Huntsville, AL area on their search for skilled Masons to join their growing team.

Role Summary:

The Mason will be responsible for laying brick, block, and stone on commercial construction projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lay brick, concrete block, CMU, stone, and other masonry materials according to project specifications
