Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality, in Chicago, seeks an Area Assistant Director of Sales for Marriott Chicago Midway to drive occupancy, revenue, and guest engagement. You will partner with the Director of Sales, lead a team of Sales Managers, and shape budgets, forecasts, and marketing plans to turn ambitious ideas into results.

You will coach and hire, negotiate contracts, and build lasting client relationships while tracking market trends and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hotel sales experience preferred; alternate: 4-year degree + 1 year experience or 2-year degree + 2 years experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent verbal/written communication and professional selling skills
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organization abilities; proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and lead diverse teams
• Experienced in sales/marketing principles; comfortable with financial data and working under pressure

Responsibilities
