Job summary

Bank of America in New York is seeking an experienced Trade Control Operations Lead to provide advanced end-to-end support for securities, loans, and both exchange traded and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple lines of business.

The role requires coordinating governance, controls, and risk management, while working with Front-Line Units and global teams to ensure timely and accurate trade processing.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in the trade control/fixed income operations.
• Strong understanding of derivatives products for SME-level support.
• Knowledge of Global Markets/Fixed Income trade control regulations (TRACE, CFTC parts 43/45, Volcker 2.0).
• Strong Excel reporting and data reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily to monthly trade support controls across SPI.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, risk, and other operations.
• Governance and controls across regulatory requirements in Global Market Operations.
• Liaise with Front-Line Units on trade booking and risk variances.
• Lead New Products Readiness reviews from Operations perspective.
• Drive risk controls and process improvements with technology teams.
• Support industry events and coordination with NY and India teams.
