Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of intermediate-level Excel experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with reconciliation systems/design.
• 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Presentable, confident and client focused.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to an audience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with and influencing all levels of the firm.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and escalation awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and learn on the job.
• Demonstrated problem solving and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Run metric based controls that measure the health of the reconciliation space and report findings to risk partners.
• Maintaining the reconciliation database, including updating functions and functional ownership.
• Liaising with Global Markets Operations and Reconciliation partners to solve complex recon problems.
• Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools.
• Performs research and analyses using established techniques, including handling exceptions.
• Explores methods to enhance processes, reduce risks, and boost client experience.
• Partners with trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents.
• Creates reports and liaises with internal partners for proper client and regulatory reporting.
• Escalates potential risks and exposures to management in a timely manner.
• Assists with ad-hoc projects requiring coordination across product areas.
