Job summary

Ritchie Bros. is seeking a Product Manager to own the buyer discovery and transaction surfaces, aligning with business priorities. You will partner with engineering and design to scope, sequence, and ship features, while improving search relevance and the discovery journey.

You will define success metrics, collaborate with upstream platform teams, and support international rollout across languages and regulatory contexts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product management for consumer-facing web products with transactions.
• End-to-end ownership from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Strong written communication that makes tradeoffs legible to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the buyer experience end-to-end, including story writing, cross-functional execution, and sharing insights.
• Evaluate market and user research, analyze data, and identify high-impact work.
• Partner with engineering and design to scope, sequence, and ship features within timelines and capacity constraints.
• Improve search relevance and discovery to help buyers find equipment with less effort.
• Define success metrics before launch and use results to guide next steps.
• Collaborate with upstream platform and listings teams to align roadmaps with buyer needs.
• Support international rollout across countries, languages, and regulatory contexts.
• Keep stakeholders and leadership informed on progress, risks, and outcomes.
