Responsibilities

• Place new business accounts and support internal marketing efforts.
• Submit to carriers for quotes, negotiate, propose, and bind coverage.
• Negotiate with companies for agency coverage standards, terms, and premiums.
• Address marketing service requirements and review new business applications.
• Handle placement through binding and process documents, certificates, and client payments.
• Follow up to ensure timely responses in line with binding procedures.
• Prepare proposals, binding and financial documents for client presentations.
• Coordinate with companies on quotes and new markets for affiliate firms.
• Develop relationships with underwriters and understand market conditions for optimal placement.
• Utilize online rating programs for assigned accounts and necessary online ratings.

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Marketing Specialist to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team.
