Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Health Insurance Account Management support role in the Albuquerque area. You will assist sales representatives in prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business, and coordinate customer issues and enrollment meetings.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent health care experience, and a state insurance license or progress toward one. A hybrid schedule is offered with three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 1 year of health insurance/health care field experience in a service/sales/marketing role; OR 5 years in health care management in a marketing role; OR 5 years in sales/marketing/health care management/claims roles.
• State Insurance License(s) required or to be obtained within regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales reps or account management in prospecting, acquiring or renewing business.
• Build relationships with customer representatives/brokers and coordinate issue resolution.
• Research and analyze reports; participate in enrollment meetings; support RFP information gathering.
• Assist with new accounts or renewals and travel to customer sites as needed.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting sales representatives or account management personnel in the prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business. Duties vary based on market and type of role supporting and may include any of the following: building relationships with customer representatives/brokers, researching and coordinating the resolution of customer issues, preparing and analyzing reports, participating/leading enrollment meetings, gathering information for RFP's, preparing or implementing new accounts or renewals, and travel to customer sites.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care field in a service/sales/marketing position involving initiative and decision-making OR 5 years of experience in health care management in a marketing service representative role OR 5 years of experience in sales/marketing or health care management/claims/provider service experience involving processing or coordination of services for health care clients.
• State Insurance License(s) or obtain State Insurance License(s) within required time frame per state regulations.
• Organizational and decision-making skills; written and verbal communications skills including telephone skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external contacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range

$47,500.00 - $86,000.00
