Job summary

Belk seeks a Sample Coordinator to work with the Sample Team Manager, peers, Photography Studio, Digital Team and Merchants to ensure accurate, timely flow of samples for advertising, eCommerce, and other projects. You will identify and process assets to meet project schedules.

You will barcode samples, validate style information in Workhorse, and capture thumbnails to prevent reshoots. The role requires organization, multitasking, and effective communication in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous accuracy and timely flow of samples for Marketing or eCommerce projects.
• Streamline sample handling across media channels to meet deadlines.
• Barcode samples and validate style information in Workhorse.
• Capture thumbnail pictures for each submitted sample to avoid reshoots.
• Maintain organized Sample Processing areas and manage inbound/outbound shipments.
• Assist with Turn-Ins through sample processing and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Execute other projects as assigned by the Sample Team Manager.
