Job summary

Wellmark is launching its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Des Moines, IA, with a spring-to-summer transition. You will support planning and execution of campaigns, update collateral, and leverage marketing technology to deliver tactics.

You will collaborate with digital, analytics, and operations teams while gaining experience in marketing strategy, sponsorship activations, and content development in a hybrid/remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related business program required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to use data to inform decisions and make recommendations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn technology tools and systems to track, manage, develop and deploy work.
• Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year, either hybrid or fully remote.
• Available to work 40 hours/week during the summer; in-office Tue, Wed and Thu.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Interact across marketing teams and collaborate with digital, analytics and operations groups.
• Assist in updating marketing collateral and enrollment materials.
• Leverage marketing technology to develop and deliver marketing tactics.
• Analyze data for campaign performance and insights.
• Research competitor programs and evaluate Wellmark initiatives.
• Contribute to content development with the creative team.
