Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Des Moines, IA, offers a Spring/Summer 2027 Marketing Rotation Internship. You will rotate through planning and execution of campaigns, supporting analytics and content development while learning from marketing professionals.
Preferred candidates are undergrad juniors or seniors in marketing, with strong communication and data-driven decision skills. The program transitions from part-time spring to full-time summer at our corporate office.

What’sMarketing at Wellmark?Marketing encompasses every part of strategic work to acquire and retain members and clients for Wellmark’s health plan products and services. It includes brand management, value proposition development, performance marketing campaigns, digital and content marketing, sponsorship activations and operations management aligned to driving measurable business outcomes.
What projects might I support?As a rotation program, you’ll receive exposure to Wellmark’s diverse marketing activities and have an opportunity for exposure to all aspects of marketing. This position will have the opportunity to interact across teams within Wellmark Marketing, primarily supporting planning and execution of marketing campaigns. You’ll work on projects that will give you experience in marketing strategy and execution, ranging from updating marketing collateral to learning how to leverage marketing technology to manage and deliver marketing tactics. You’ll work with individuals on the digital, analytics and operations teams on analysis efforts or other projects. Depending on your skills, you also may collaborate with the creative team to develop content.
