Job summary

The McGregor Foundation is seeking a dynamic field-based marketer/sales professional to expand referrals for McGregor PACE in the Akron region. You will engage hospitals, SNFs, and communities, deliver informative presentations, and guide families from initial contact through enrollment in our programs.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and negotiation skills, experience in healthcare or senior services, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, business, or related field.
• Proven experience in marketing, sales, or customer engagement.
• Experience in healthcare, senior services, or referral development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, assisted living, group homes, senior centers, and other providers.
• Call on referral sources and deliver presentations explaining McGregor PACE and referral process.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries guiding families from first contact to enrollment.
• Schedule and conduct community outreach and events promoting McGregor PACE; represent at trade shows and networking events.
• Execute the sales plan and meet or exceed referral and enrollment goals.
• Generate new leads and establish referral relationships across the Akron area.
• Maintain accurate records of activity and prospecting in our CRM.
• Foster lasting relationships with participants, families, and community partners.

A leading provider for older adults, McGregor is meeting the changing needs of Cleveland’s seniors throughout Northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Summit and Lorain County through our residential care services, community based program PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) that keeps people connected in the community, and our grant‑making foundation that supports innovations, workforce development and quality of care in all settings; each are providing ways to age well and improve lives!

What you'll do

• Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, group homes, senior centers, and other service providers.
• Call on referral sources and deliver presentations that explain who McGregor PACE serves and how to refer.
• Follow up on every lead and inquiry, guiding prospective participants and their families from first contact through enrollment.
• Schedule and conduct community outreach and events promoting McGregor PACE, and represent us at trade shows and networking functions.
• Execute the sales plan and meet or exceed referral and enrollment goals.
• Generate new leads and open new referral relationships across the Akron area.
• Keep accurate, timely records of all activity and prospecting in our CRM.
• Build lasting relationships with participants, families, and community partners.
• Follow all PACE marketing regulations (42 CFR 460.82).

What you bring

• High school diploma or associate degree required; bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in marketing, sales, or customer engagement.
• Experience in healthcare, senior services, or referral development preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• The ability to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, energy, reliability, and the ability to prioritize toward goals.
• A collaborative approach with colleagues at every level.
• Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) system is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
