Ally Financial is seeking a Manager, Marketing Project Manager to drive high-visibility marketing programs from ideation to delivery. You will partner with Marketing, agencies, and Legal to bring structure to complex work and deliver outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in project or marketing program management, strong executive communication, and experience with Monday.com/Jira/Asana. This hybrid role supports collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management or related field.
7+ years of project/marketing program management experience with cross-functional teams.
Strong ability to influence without formal authority and drive accountability.
Experience presenting to senior leaders and steering committees.
Familiarity with AI/automation tools to improve planning or reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives from intake through delivery.
Define objectives, scope, timelines, risks, and success measures with stakeholders.
Build and maintain project plans to drive accountability and transparency.
Facilitate kickoffs, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
Manage risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; escalate with clear options.
Present status, risks, and recommendations to executives and senior leaders.
Drive alignment across Marketing, Agencies, Legal, and Compliance.
Utilize enterprise tools to manage workflows and reporting.
