Job summary

Ally Financial seeks an experienced Marketing Project Manager to lead high-visibility marketing initiatives from intake to delivery, coordinating with Marketing Enablement, Legal, Compliance, and external partners. You will build robust project plans, manage risks, and drive accountability across stakeholders while leveraging AI tools to improve planning and reporting.

The role requires 7+ years in project/program management within marketing or related fields, with a Bachelor’s degree and strong

Qualifications

6+ years of project management, program management, marketing operations, or related experience.
Ability to drive accountability and results through influence rather than authority.
Executive presence with experience presenting to senior leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives from intake through delivery.
Define objectives, scope, timelines, milestones, risks, success measures, and PMO support.
Build and maintain project plans driving accountability and transparency.
Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; escalate with options.
Present status, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
Utilize enterprise tools to manage workflows and reporting.
Contribute to PMO standards, templates, and continuous improvement.
