Job summary

Goosehead Insurance is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to lead the execution and governance of our marketing automation platforms and technology infrastructure. This role reports to marketing leadership and will own automation workflows, CRM integrations, and platform performance across the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing automation, marketing operations, revenue operations, or related marketing technology roles.
• Minimum 3-4 years of direct people leadership or supervisory experience, managing marketing technology teams, cross-functional projects, or analyst-level staff.
• Extensive experience administering, optimizing, and scaling marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
• Proven track record managing lead routing and orchestration systems (e.g., LeanData, 6sense, or comparable solutions) with demonstrated impact on operational efficiency and SLA performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution, governance, and optimization of marketing automation platforms and technology infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for marketing technology initiatives and complex automation issues.
• Oversee governance standards for data hygiene, segmentation, routing logic, and campaign deployment.
• Develop and present business cases for technology investments and ROI analysis.
• Onboard and implement new marketing technology solutions with integration planning and team training.
• Monitor platform performance metrics and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with Sales, IT, Partnerships, and Marketing to align solutions with revenue goals.
