General Roles and Responsibilities * Collaborate with leadership and MarCom team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote the health system’s services, programs, and initiatives. * Conduct market research to identify patient needs and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies. * Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in health care marketing. * Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels to maintain and build brand awareness. * Develop and maintain relationships with public relations team to enhance brand visibility through earned media. * Design and implement advertising campaigns to create awareness and generate interest in strategic services. * Regularly communicate marketing plans and results to stakeholders/leaders. * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to volume, service, and brand. * Analyze marketing data and metrics to determine the success or failure of marketing initiatives. * Prepare campaign reports and make recommendations for future marketing strategies based on performance data. * Develop promotional materials and patient education materials for assigned service areas. * Ensure that all marketing materials are current, accurate, and effectively communicate the value of services. This includes printed materials as well as online/digital assets. * Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for assigned marketing areas, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. * Develop, monitor, and reconcile project budgets to ensure alignment with marketing and organizational goals. * Organize and facilitate standing meetings with key leaders and marketing team members to review ongoing projects. * Identify new services or marketing opportunities during these meetings and discuss strategies to capitalize on them. * Collaborate with other marketing managers on opportunities that cover multiple UAB entities. * Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and workshops to raise awareness of available services. * Ensure that all marketing activities comply with health care regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant laws. * Lead and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support for professional development. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
