Job summary

Tetherow in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the resort's marketing and advertising efforts. You will own campaigns, manage budgets, and drive occupancy and guest engagement.

This role requires a college degree and marketing experience, including budgeting, agency relationships, and data-driven decision making. Proficiency with WordPress, Google Analytics, and social platforms is valued.

Responsibilities

• You have a strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager; Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) a plus
• You have stellar organization skills, detail orientation and follow-through
• You have proven ability to work well under pressure and resolve problems
• You are professional in appearance and pleasant in your demeanor

What you’ll do…

• Manage the marketing and advertising budget, allocating spending across channels and campaigns and adjusting based on performance
• Set brand and content standards for all digital and onsite communications, and serve as final approver on content before it goes live
• Conduct competitive analysis across offerings, messaging, and channels, and use findings to recommend packages, offers, and positioning to leadership
• Partner with department leaders to set marketing priorities that support their revenue and engagement goals
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media and digital engagement strategies aligned with brand, sales, marketing, and revenue objectives
• Manage and grow the resort's presence across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube, etc.
• Create, schedule, coordinate, and publish engaging content while leading social media coverage and digital promotion for resort experiences, accommodations, dining, golf, events, weddings, outdoor recreation, seasonal campaigns, special offers, community partnerships, to increase brand awareness, engagement, and visitation
• Plan, manage, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and performance tracking
• Manage online review platforms while ensuring timely and professional responses
• Stay informed of emerging digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and industry best practices to identify opportunities that support occupancy, event bookings, revenue growth, and overall business objectives
• Establish creative standards for outsourced design projects, guide vendor execution, and approve final deliverables to ensure alignment with brand objectives
