The Marketing Manager is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, and advertising strategies that drive measurable success for our healthcare clients.
As the primary point of contact for hospitals, health systems, and medical organizations, you will develop strategic plans, oversee implementation, and optimize results. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Services, this role also manages a Marketing Coordinator who provides client support.
Client Leadership & Strategy Development
Serve as the primary contact for assigned healthcare clients, managing and nurturing relationships.
Work with firm strategists to develop and implement effective marketing and positioning strategies.
Translate client goals into data-driven marketing plans that elevate brand visibility and engagement.
Present marketing strategies, reports, and insights to C-suite executives and Board of Trustees.
Marketing Campaign Execution & Optimization
Oversee integrated marketing campaigns tailored to local market needs for rural and urban hospitals, academic medical centers, and health systems.
Ensure marketing deliverables align with client goals, exceed expectations, and achieve measurable results.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling creative concepts, launch campaigns, and analyze performance metrics.
Track campaign ROI, client budgets, profitability, and KPIs to ensure optimal execution.
Manage relationships with media buyers, print/production vendors, and digital technology firms.
Project Management & Team Collaboration
Oversee daily client interactions, ensuring strong communication and strategic alignment.
Guide and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, providing leadership and support.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and workflow efficiency to ensure seamless execution.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred). Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred. 5+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, and campaign management (healthcare and hospital marketing experience preferred).
Skills & Expertise Strong critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies. Deep understanding of strategic marketing planning processes and data analysis. Ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing recommendations. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality results under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first approach. Confident in branding, advertising, and marketing fundamentals. Skilled in public speaking and leading high-level client discussions.
