Job summary

BIC World, a global maker of everyday essentials, seeks a Senior Manager, FP&A to guide financial planning and analysis for the Marketing organization. You will report to the Director of FP&A with a dotted line to the Category Marketing Director and act as financial advisor for the category P&L.

You will develop operating plans, lead multi-year forecasting, and provide strategic insights to drive growth across brands in a hybrid work environment at NAM headquarters in Norwalk, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance; MBA, a plus.
• 10 to 15 years of financial experience in a profit-driven organization.
• Advanced computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience in JDE, Hyperion Financial Management, TM1, Anaplan, Power BI a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate across functions, with all levels, and with international teams.
• Willingness to adapt to changing business requirements and learn new systems/methods.
• Strong decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills; deadline-driven.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence the audience.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the operating plan, forecasts, and multi-year plans, with key stakeholders.
• Manage monthly financial updates with in-depth commentary on category results including price/volume/mix analysis.
• Assist in strategic planning and analysis for multiple brands.
• Collaborate with Marketing on sales targets, promotions, new products, and pricing.
• Analyze Consumer Support and Advertising programs to ensure funds are spent effectively.
• Implement and enforce financial control policies.
• Identify financial impact of variances vs. forecast.
• Provide timely forecasts and risk/opportunity assessments to leadership.
